We are pleased to share that a poster contribution from the Smartline PV project received a prize sponsored by Thermo Fisher Scientific at DocDays 2025 in Graz.
The work, presented at the start of a PhD project, focuses on the development of tin perovskite-based solar cells designed for efficient, low-cost roll-to-roll production. A distinguishing feature of this approach is the creation of flexible and color-customizable modules, combining technical performance with design versatility.
This research is carried out within the Smartline PV consortium under the supervision of Thomas Rath and Gregor Trimmel. The recognition at DocDays represents an encouraging milestone for the young researcher and highlights the innovative potential of lead-free perovskite photovoltaics.
Smartline PV remains committed to advancing next-generation solar technologies that unite sustainability, efficiency, and design.
