Inspiring exchange at the Future PV Workshop in Cyprus

The Smartline PV project was well represented at the Future PV Workshop, held at the University of Cyprus in Nicosia. Project partners from Technische Universität Graz, INO GmbH R&D Division, bifa Umweltinstitut GmbH, and Halocell Energy contributed actively to both the discussions and the program.

We thank Maria Hadjipanayi and the TESTARE Project for the excellent organization of this event, which provided an important platform to connect the work of 14 Horizon Europe projects that are driving innovation in photovoltaics.

Thomas Rath presented an overview of the SMARTLINE-PV project and its vision. Matthias Hämmer shared key findings on ecodesign guidelines for perovskites, with a particular focus on lead-free technologies. Enrico Leonardi contributed insights into the challenges of applying perovskite solar cells in urban and dynamic environments.

The workshop fostered fruitful discussions, generated new ideas, and opened up promising opportunities for future collaboration. Smartline PV is proud to be part of a community dedicated to shaping the sustainable energy solutions of tomorrow.
