Smartline PV at the 17th ISOPHOS Summer School on Hybrid and Organic Photovoltaics

The Smartline PV project will contribute to the upcoming 17th ISOPHOS International Summer School on Hybrid and Organic Photovoltaics, taking place from 2–6 September 2025 in Talamone, Tuscany (Italy).

As part of the program, Thomas Rath (Technische Universität Graz) will deliver a tutorial lecture on “Lead-Free Perovskites – Challenges and Opportunities”. His presentation will cover recent advances in tin-based and other lead-free perovskite materials, emphasizing their potential to enable stable and scalable next-generation photovoltaics.

The Summer School is co-organized by Aldo Di Carlo (CNR – ISM Institute of Structure of Matter, Rome), member of the ISOPHOS Organizing Board and also a partner in the SMARTLINE-PV consortium. He will contribute both to the organization and as a lecturer.

The ISOPHOS Summer School offers PhD students and early-career researchers an opportunity to learn from leading experts, gain hands-on knowledge, and deepen their understanding of advanced PV materials in an interdisciplinary and international environment.
